Enthält: Stück HJ 2-19-1 ist ein masch. Vorlesungsmanuskript in hebräischer Sprache zum Thema der Gnosis. Das Typoskript ist hs. korrigiert und annotiert und enthält hs. Ergänzungsblätter. Bei den Stücken HJ 2-19-2 bis -9 handelt es sich laut Aufschrift von Hans Jonas um den deutschen Text dieser Vorlesung; offensichtlich jedoch nicht um eine Übersetzung, sondern um das Material aus den Vorarbeiten für das Vorlesungsmanuskript in hebräischer Sprache. Nur Stück HJ 2-19-7, bzw. HJ 2-19-3, läßt sich als Übersetzung der ersten 10 Seiten von HJ 2-19-1 ermitteln. HJ 2-19-2 sind hs. Notizen, von denen zumindest die ersten beiden Blätter Einschübe zu dem Typoskript HJ 2-19-7 darstellen. Die hs. Stücke HJ 2-19-3 bis -6 stellen ein zusammenhängendes durchformuliertes Manuskript dar. Stück HJ 2-19-7 ist die masch. Abschrift der 13 ersten Seiten des Stückes HJ 2-19-3. Bei den hs. Stücken HJ 2-19-8 und -9 handelt es sich ebenfalls um hs., weitgehend durchformulierte Texte. Neben diesem Material, das auf das Ende der 30er Jahre zu datieren ist, enthält die Mappe noch eine hs. korrigierte masch. Mitschrift einer Vorlesung mit dem Titel "Gnosticism and the Spirit of Late Antiquity", die Hans Jonas am 17. März 1972 an der University of Hartford, vermutlich bei der Hartford Seminary Foundation, hielt.
