Vorwort: 1. Herkunft und Beschreibung des Bestandes
Die privaten Unterlagen von Pfarrer Georg Hofmann (1888 - 1970) wurden aus dem Nachlassteil Michael Hofmann (NLT 58) entnommen. Es liegt nahe, dass Pfarrer Michael Hofmann die Unterlagen von Georg Hofmann im Pfarrhaus von Glosberg vorgefunden hat. Georg Hofmann war dort von 1932 bis 1947 Pfarrer, Michael Hofmann von 1951 bis 1975. Die Unterlagen die eindeutig Pfarrer Georg Hofmann zuzuordnen waren, wurden diesem Nachlassteil zugewiesen. Der kleine Nachlaßssteilbestand umfaßt sieben Nummern.
2. Zur Person
Georg Hofmann wurde am 13. Mai 1888 in Stadelhofen geboren. Nach seiner Priesterweihe am 27. März 1913 führten ihn erste Stationen nach Altenkunstadt (14.8.1913) und Stadtsteinach (16.11.1913). Im Ersten Weltkrieg war er Feldgeistlicher beim bayer. Feldlazarett 20 und dann Divisionspfarrer der 32. Division. Nach dem Krieg war Georg Hofmann als Kaplan in Ebensfeld (27.12.1918), Waischenfeld (06.01.1919) und Bamberg St. Gangolf (16.10.1919). Ab 01. September 1920 war er Benefiziat in Waischenfeld, ab 01. Mai 1927 Kuratus in Nankendorf und ab 01. Dezember 1932 Pfarrer in Glosberg, ab 01. März 1947 war Georg Hof-mann Pfarrer in Hallerndorf. Nach seiner Resignation am 01. September 1959 war er Kommorant in Plankenfels. Georg Hofmann verstarb am 09. August 1970 und wurde in seinem Heimatort Stadelhofen beigesetzt.
Aus den Unterlagen geht hervor, dass Pfarrer Georg Hofmann Mitarbeiter an der vom Botanischen Museum in Berlin-Dahlem geleiteten pflanzengeographischen Kartierung Deutschlands war.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
