Zur Person:Hans Weiß wurde am 2.März 1889 in Nürnberg geboren und starb am 13.März 1957 ebd.Er absolvierte die Realschule in Nürnberg und das Lehrerseminar in Bayreuth. 1911-1914 besuchte er die Akademie für Tonkunst in München und wurde unmittelbar nach dem Abitur zum Kriegsdienst eingezogen. Als Leutnant der Reserve Ende 1918 zurückgekehrt, fand er im Januar 1920 eine Anstellung beim Nürnberger Konservatorium für Musik als Lehrer für Klavier, Chorgesang und Musiktheorie. 1925 avancierte er zum Studienprofessor und wurde 1955, nach 35-jähriger musikpädagogischer Tätigkeit, in den Ruhestand versetzt. Bereits vor dem 1.Weltkrieg begann Weiß zu komponieren. Seine Kompositionen, die letzten entstanden wohl Anfang der 50er Jahre, umfassen fast das gesamte Spektrum musikalischen Schaffens. The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number.
