Vorbemerkung: Im Zuge der Verwaltungsreform 1972 wurde der Regierungsveterinärrat in Rastatt als eigenständige Behörde aufgelöst, mit der Regierungsveterinärratsstelle Bühl vereinigt und als Außenstelle des Veterinäramtes Karlsruhe fortgeführt. Die Akten der beiden ehemaligen Regierungsveterinärratsstellen Bühl und Rastatt wurden vernichtet (vor allem Bühl), der Altregistratur eingegliedert oder fortgeführt. Diese neugebildete Altregistratur umfasst ca. 20 lfd. m. Im Zuge einer Vor-Ort-Bewertung am 07.10.1992 wurden ca. 2,5 lfd. m Akten als archivwürdig eingestuft. Zusätzlich wurden einige wenige fortgeführte Akten aus der Zeit nach 1974 auf Vorschlag des Veterinäramtes übernommen. Insgesamt kamen so 109 Akten in das Generallandesarchiv Karlsruhe, die im August 1993 von Till John unter Anleitung des Unterzeichneten verzeichnet wurden. Dr. Jürgen Treffeisen

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
