Jahrhundert –2003, 522 Verzeichnungseinheiten (darunter 1225 Motive) Die Sammlung, bestehend überwiegend aus Fotografien und Bildpostkarten, dokumentiert das Leben in Kevelaer-Twisteden im ausgehenden 19. und im 20. Jahrhundert, mit seinen Bräuchen und Traditionen, der Dorfgemeinschaft, die zu vielen Anlässen zusammen kam, mit den baulichen Veränderungen, mit Kleingewerbe, Handel und Handwerk sowie mit der für den Niederrhein typischen Landwirtschaft. Im Bestand befinden sich z. B. Fotografien der Schützenumzüge aus den 1940 bis 1970er Jahren, der im Dorf gefeierten Hochzeiten, Silber- und Goldhochzeiten sowie des ansässigen Kleingewerbes. Zahlreiche Dokumente betreffend die Twistedener Familie van de Braak, die diese Sammlung über Jahrzehnte zusammengestellt hat. Ein Teil des Bestandes unterliegt den archivgesetzlichen Schutzfristen und ist deshalb für die Nutzung gesperrt. The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
