Enthält: - Schloss Rossewitz (SW von Laage) Ältester Barockbau Mecklenburgs; erbaut 1657-1682 vom wallonischen Baumeister Charles Philippe Dieussart für den dänischen Generalmajor Joachim Heinrich Vieregge. Rossewitz war als Burganlage 1360 in Eigentum der Familie Moltke , danach von Normann. Das Innere des Schlosses wurde 1660 im Festsaal mit Architekturmalerei durch italienische Künstler gestaltet und 1781-1784 über den Türen mit arkadischen Landschaftsbildern verschönt. Der viergeschossige, 9-achsige Putzbau mit zwei Flügeln und der Mittelrisalit war von Wirtschaftsgebäuden umgeben. Diese und das Dorf sind heute abgerissen. 1760 gelangte das Schloss nach Konkurs in Besitz der Großherzoge Friedrich Franz der Erste von Mecklenburg Schwerin. Danach herzogliche Domäne bis 1945. Plünderungen durch Besatzungsgruppen und Bevölkerung nach 1945. 1971 kurzzeitig Renovierungen wegen eines dort gedrehten Spielfilm der DEFA, dann Verfall nach Leerstand. Wertvolle Stuckdecken stürzten ein. Erst ab 1994 Sicherung und Neubau des Daches und einiger Zwischendecken. Jetzt in Rechtsträgerschaft der Gemeinde Liessow. - Bild 1 Frontansicht. - Bild 2 Terrakotten als Fries im Traufbereich, Unikate. - Bild 3 Eingangshalle mit Fries aus Schild und Schädel. - Bild 4 ... im Inneren Tunesisches Vorbild.
