Regest: Laux Loter, Bürger zu Reutlingen, bekennt, dass er im Gefängnis von Bürgermeister und Rat der Stadt Reutlingen gelegen ist, weil er bei Nacht, als er in der Walkmühle sass (= wohnte), an die Holzbeige der Herren von Reutlingen ging, davon etliches Holz wegtrug und in der Walkmühle zu seinem Nutzen verbrannte. Deshalb hätten die Herren Fug und Macht gehabt, gegen ihn mit weiterer Straf zu handeln. Aber auf seine Bitte haben sie ihn aus dem Gefängnis entlassen. Er hat einen Eid geschworen, diese Sache an niemand zu rächen. Er soll und will von Stund an (= sofort) aus der Walkmühle in die Stadt ziehen und sein Leben lang um den Walkmüllerdienst nicht bitten noch denselben annehmen bis zu der Herren Gnade (= Begnadigung durch die Herren). Wenn er diesen Eid und Urfehde nicht hielte, soll und will er heissen und sein ein treuloser, eidbrüchiger Mann, den die Herren richten oder richten lassen mögen als einen Eidbrüchigen.
