Beschreibung: Das Gutsarchiv umfasst vor allem Unterlagen aus dem Betrieb des Ladengeschäftes, das im Laufe der Zeit mehr und mehr zur Haupterwerbsquelle des Gutsbesitzers geworden war.
Geschichte des Bestandsbildners: Das Gut Karrharde gehörte zum Zweiten Angler Güterdistrikt. Seit 1728 war es im Besitz der Familie Sibbers, die das Gut im Jahr 1833 an Heinrich thor Straten verkaufte. Dieser ließ ein neues Gutshaus erbauen. Bereits 1835 wurde auf dem Stammhof eine Hökerei betrieben.
Geschichte des Bestandsbildners: 1848 verkaufte thor Straten Gut Karrharde an H. F. Hansen. Nach dessen Tod ging es 1855 in das Eigentum seiner Erbinnen Christina Hansen und Ingeborg Marie Hansen über. Gemeinsam richteten beide im Stammhof Karrhardehof einen ländlichen Laden ein.
Geschichte des Bestandsbildners: 1884 erwarb Johann Heinrich Schütt aus Husum Karrhardehof von Ingeborg Marie Hansen. Den Laden verpachtete er 1888 an seinen Sohn Emil Friedrich Christian Schütt, der gelernter Kaufmann war. Nach dem Tod von Johann Heinrich Schütt ging Karrhardehof 1893 per Überlassungsvertrag auf den Sohn über. Emil Schütt blieb Eigentümer bis zu seinem Tod 1938. Der Gutshof verblieb im Besitz seiner Nachfahren.
Bestandsgeschichte: Der Bestand ist zu einem kleineren Teil staatlicher Provenienz und wurde vom Amtsgericht Leck 1921 an das damalige Staatsarchiv Schleswig sowie 1948 und 1961 an das Landesarchiv abgegeben.
Bestandsgeschichte: Der größere Teil des Bestandes umfasst Unterlagen aus dem eigentlichen Gutsarchiv. Er wurde dem Landesarchiv 2003 vom Eigentümer als Schenkung überlassen.
