Visitenkartenporträt mit Ganzfigur stehend in einem Fotoatelier nach vorn gewandt, Kopf nach links ins Halbprofil gewandt, den rechten Arm auf ein Postament gelegt, den Oberkörper etwas seitlich geneigt, mit dunklem Anzug mit Vatermörder, Querbinder, Weste und Gehrock, die linke Hand in den Riemen einer Schultertasche eingehakt, die Beine überkreuzt, links im Bild ein Vorhang, rechts ein Stuhl.
Bemerkung: Auf der Rückseite aufgedruckt Angaben zum Fotografen, mit Bleistift handschriftlich "Maury Matth. Fontain | Hydrograph".; Im "Einlauf-Buch der Porträt-Sammlung N° 1-3531" unter "Herkunft" die Angabe "Hornlocher" und unter "Gekauft" der Betrag 3,50 Mark.
