Vorwort: P Rep. 151 Standesamt Mariendorf
Das Standesamt Mariendorf existierte von 1874 bis 1942. Zunächst nur für die Gemeinde Mariendorf eingerichtet, fungierte es von 1894 bis 1902 auch als Standesamt für Marienfelde. Zum 01.04.1942 wurden seine Aufgaben vom Standesamt Tempelhof übernommen.
Allgemeiner Hinweis: Die Personenstandsregister, Namensverzeichnisse und Sammelakten werden erst nach Ablauf der gesetzlichen Fortschreibungsfristen von 110 Jahren (Geburten), 80 Jahren (Eheschließungen) bzw. 30 Jahren (Sterbefälle) archiviert. Der Überlieferungsstand im Landesarchiv Berlin entspricht diesen Vorgaben mit einer möglichen Verzögerung von ein bis zwei Jahren.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.

In the sources, the persecuted person is sometimes referred to as ‘Geschädigter’ (aggrieved party) and the applicant as ‘Anspruchsberechtigter’(claimant).
