Errichtung: 1804 / Wiedererrichtng: 1842 "Das in einer Urkunde von 931 genannte "Wulesesheim" ist wohl der gleiche Ort, der in einer Urkunde von 1174 villa Sancti Jacobi heißt. Im 14. Jh. erhält der dann, zur Unterscheidung von Unser vrauwen Willesheim, den Namen Jakobwüllesheim, er war Filiale von Soller. 1559 wird die Kapelle durch den Kaplan Peter von Trier bedient. 1804 ist Jakobwüllesheim Pfarre im Kanton Froitzheim unter der Hauptpfarre Nideggen. 1808 wird sie mit Kelz zu einer Pfarre vereinigt. Am 19. August 1842 wird Jakobwüllesheim wieder zur Pfarre erhoben. Sie gehörte zum Dekanat Nideggen bis 1925, als das Dekanat Vettweiß gegründet wurde; letzteres ist bei der Neuorganisation des Bistums 1973 in Dekanat Nörvenich-Vettweiß integriert worden."
