Laut Mitteilung des FB Interne Dienste vom 28.01.2008 wurde die Tübinger Ortsrechtsammlung als grauer DIN-A5-Ordner mit eingeprägtem Stadtwappen erstmals im Juni 1957 als Loseblattsammlung herausgegeben. Sie wurde im Juni 2005 als Druckwerk aufgegeben; bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt erfolgten 27 Ergänzungslieferungen. Seit Juni 2005 werden die städtischen Satzungen und Rechtsverordnungen im Internet pupliziert. Als Ersatz für den alten Ordner wurde den Fachbereichen und Ämtern sowie den Mitgliedern des Gemeinderats ein neuer Ordner (DIN-A4, rot-weißes Rückenschild mit rotem Logo) zur Sammlung der Tübinger Satzungen zur Verfügung gestellt
