1922-1990
Einleitung: Willi Lauk wurde am 25. Dezember 1913 als Sohn eines Missionars im chinesischen Pyangtong geboren. Er legte das Abitur in Frankfurt am Main ab und studierte in Tübingen, Erlangen und Wien Theologie. 1936 legte er die Erste theologische Dienstprüfung ab und nach Stationen in Gaildorf, Böttingen und bei der Evangelischen Landesjugendstelle 1940 die zweite theologische Dienstprüfung. 1944 heiratete er Vera Klörs.
1944 wurde er auf die Pfarrstelle Steigkirche (Bad Cannstatt) berufen, wohin er 1945 nach Kriegseinsatz und Gefangenschaft zurückkehrte. 1948 wurde er Leiter der Landesstelle des Evangelischen Jungmännerwerks und 1953 Direktor des kirchlichen Aufbaugymnasiums in Michelbach an der Bilz. 1964 wurde er für die CDU in den baden-württembergischen Landtag gewählt. Willi Lauk starb am 21.12.1965 in Stuttgart.
Der Nachlass enthält zum einen einige persönliche Dokumente (Zeugnisse, Entschädigungsanträge u.a.). Dabei sind von besonderem Interesse seine Reiseberichte aus England, den USA und Finnland sowie der von seiner Frau verfasste biografische Abriss über Willi Lauk. Den größten Teil des Nachlasses machen Manuskripte und Korrespondenz aus Lauks umfangreicher Publikations- und Redetätigkeit aus: Predigten, Andachten, Besinnungen, Artikel u.a.
Der Bestand umfasst 0,5 lfd. m. Er wurde im Juni 2023 von Eckehart Lauk an das Landeskirchliche Archiv Stuttgart übergeben und im August 2023 von Nina Wagner im Rahmen eines Praktikums verzeichnet.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
