Bestandsgeschichte: In der napoleonischen Zeit gehörte die hessische Grafschaft Schaumburg zum Königreich Westphalen und bildete große Teile des Distrikts Rinteln. Von 1807 bis 1810 gehörte der Distrikt Rinteln zum Departement der Weser (Sitz in Osnabrück), von 1810 bis 1813 zum Departement der Leine (Sitz in Göttingen). Der Distrikt Rinteln bestand bis 1810 aus den Kantonen Freudenberg, Obernkirchen, Oldendorf, Rinteln, Rodenberg, Sachsenhagen, Thedinghausen, Todenmann und Uchte, seit 1810 aus den Kantonen Aerzen, Bodenwerder, Börry, Hameln, Hausberge, Hemmendorf, Münder, Obernkirchen, Oldendorf, Rinteln und Windheim. Die Kantone Rodenberg und Sachsenhagen gehörten nun zum Distrikt Hannover im Departement der Aller (Sitz in Hannover).
Dieser Auffangbestand enthält zusammenhanglose Bruchstücke verschiedener westphälischer Registraturen.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
