"Deutsche Arbeiter - die SPD will euch eure Villen im Tessin wegnehmen" oder "Die Reichen müssen noch reicher werden - deshalb CDU" - mit solchen Wahlkampfplakaten wurde der Grafiker Klaus Staeck einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit bekannt. Staeck stellt in seinen Plakaten, Postkarten und Aufklebern durch satirische Überzeichnung gesellschaftliche Widersprüche und Missstände dar. Seine Themen: Arbeitslosigkeit, Rüstungswettlauf, Umweltverschmutzung, Fremdenhass und Armut in der Dritten Welt. Seit der Studentenbewegung setzt sich Staeck auch mit der politischen und wirtschaftlichen Elite der Bundesrepublik und ihren Skandalen auseinander. Immer wieder kam es deshalb zu Eklats und Prozessen. Nach dem Abitur 1957, aus seiner Geburtsstadt Bitterfeld nach Heidelberg übergesiedelt, studierte Staeck in Heidelberg Jura und ließ sich dort als Rechtsanwalt nieder. Er versuchte und versucht, Kunst und Politik, Macht und Geist miteinander ins Gespräch zu bringen - nicht zuletzt auch mit seiner Bürgerinitiative "Aktion für mehr Demokratie".

BZK no.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
