Nikolaus Adler (* 19. Januar 1902 in Viernheim; † 30. Januar 1970 in Mainz) war ein deutscher katholischer Theologe. Adler empfing am 20. März 1926 die Priesterweihe durch Bischof Ludwig Maria Hugo im Mainzer Dom. Kurz darauf, im April des selben Jahres wurde er Kaplan der Marienschule in Mainz. Ab September 1930 wirkte Adler als Kaplan in der Pfarrgemeinde St. Fidelis in Darmstadt. Nach dem Besuch der Philosophisch-Theologischen Hochschule Mainz und des Päpstlichen Bibelinstituts in Rom, promovierte er 1935 an der Universität Münster. Ab Dezember 1935 wurde er Assistent im Priesterseminar des Bistums Mainz, wo er zu Ostern 1936 einen Lehrauftrag Exegese erhielt und 1943 zum Prosynodalexaminator ernannt wurde. 1944 wurde er Professor an der Philosophisch-Theologischen Hochschule Mainz, wo er 1946 die Professur für Neues Testament erhielt. Die Professoren der Philosophisch-Theologischen Hochschule wurden mit Eröffnung der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz als Lehrkräfte in den Fachbereich Katholische Theologie der neugegründeten Universität integriert Am 21. Dezember 1951 erhielt Adler den Ehrentitel Geistlicher Rat und wurde im Folgejahr Dekan an der Katholisch Theologischen Fakultät der Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität. Bis 1957 arbeitete Nikolaus Adler an einer Revision der Klosterneuburger Bibel, die unter dem Titel "Mainzer Neues Testament" bekannt wurde. (aus Wikipedia, 2015)
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings.
