Bestandsgeschichte: Dr. Friedrich Schulze (20.4.1881- 1959) war von 1918 bis 1945 Direktor des Stadtgeschichtlichen Museums Leipzig. Nach seiner Reifeprüfung in Naumburg an der Saale studierte er in Jena und Leipzig Geschichte, Germanistik und Philosophie. In Leipzig legte er das Staatsexamen für das höhere Schulamt ab. Bevor er im Mai 1913 eine Berufung als wissenschaftlicher Hilfsarbeiter am neugegründeten Stadtgeschichtlichen Museum erhielt, war er u.a. von 1905 bis 1906 an der Leipziger Nikolaischule als Latein- und Deutschlehrer tätig. Nach dem Tod seiner Witwe wurden dem Stadtarchiv im Dezember 1975 aus seinem Nachlass das vollständige Manuskript seiner 1956 gekürzt erschienenden Leipziger Kulturgeschichte, das umfangreiche Manuskript zu einer Arbeit über den Historiker Karl Lamprecht und mehrere Porträts zu seinem 1917 erschienenden Buch zur einhundertjährigen Geschichte des Leipziger Stadttheaters angeboten. Im Januar des folgenden Jahres erfolgte die Übernahme ins Archiv.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number.
