Porträt des Dr. med. Johann Wilhelm Widmann (d.Ä.), lt. lateinischer Inschrift war er Edler des Reichs, Kaiserlicher Rat und Leibarzt, (Hof-) Pfalzgraf, Direktor der Akademie der Naturforschenden, Physicus Senior in der Stadt Nürnberg, geb. 2. Februar 1690, gest. 16. Juni 1743. Die Inschrift flankiert von Wappen, und zwar dem der Naturforschenden Gesellschaft (Motto: "numquam otiosus") bzw. dem Wappen Widmann. Diese Wappen werden wiederholt oberhalb der im Hintergrund gezeigten zwei Nischen, in denen Statuen stehen: Unterhalb des Wappens der Gesellschaft die Statue der Pallas Athene, unterhalb des Wappens Widmann eine Frauengestalt mit Schleier, Szepter in der rechten Hand sowie mit einem sechszackigen Stern an der Stirn. Der Porträtierte hat seinen linken Arm auf einen Tisch gelegt, auf welchem neben Schriftstücken, Stock und Hut auch Bücher zu sehen sind. Auf dem Rücken des einen Bandes erkennbar: "D. HEIST. || ANAT."

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person.
