[über GLÜCKSRITTER]: Die Leitung oblag Kapellmeister Gutheil. Während Bachmanns Aufführungskritik auf Lob bedacht ist, fällt die Werkkritik relativ schroff aus. Die Komposition entspreche nicht den Erfordernissen der Gattung „Komische Oper“, auch fehle es an „dramatischer Kraft und innerer Wärme“, teils sei auch der musikalische Ausdruck „gänzlich verfehlt“. Die Instrumentierung sei wenig „zweckmäßig“.
