Bereits in den 1960er Jahren begann das Stadtarchiv mit der Auswertung von lokalen Tageszeitungen für eine Sammlung von Artikeln zu Sachthemen (Zeitungsausschnittsammlung ZAUS) und zu Personen des öffentlichen Lebens (Persönlichkeitensammlung). Der Datenbestand "Persönlichkeiten" enthält ca. 9000 Kurzbiographien von Personen aus der Stadt Münster bzw. Personen, die einen direkten Bezug zu Münster haben. Die Grundlage bieten Zeitungsausschnitte aus lokalen Printmedien. Seit 2015 werden keine Zeitungsartikel mehr physisch zur Sammlung gefügt, sondern nur noch neue Informationen mit Quellenangaben etwa aus den Westfälischen Nachrichten im Datenbestand ergänzt sowie neue Personen-Datensätze angelegt. Die Zeitungsartikel und teilweise vorhandenes weiteres Dokumentationsmaterial können im Lesesaal des Stadtarchivs eingesehen werden.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
