Vorwort: Biographie:
1. Max Mosse wurde am 21. Mai 1879 in Berlin als Sohn des Kaufmanns Theodor Mosse und seiner Frau Anna Boas geboren. Sein Onkel war der bekannte Berliner Verleger Rudolf Mosse. Max hatte noch zwei jüngere Brüder, Bruno Ernst (1875-1915) und Felix Mosse (1877-1940).
Mosse studierte in Berlin und Freiburg Medizin und arbeitete viele Jahre als Arzt an der Charité.
Er war seit dem 30.08.1899 verheiratet mit Regina Laband (* 14.02.1878 in Breslau), Tochter von Albert und Cornelia Laband geb. Schabel. Laut Heiratsurkunde (StA Berlin III, P Rep. 804 Nr. ..., Urkunds-Nr. 660/99) war seine Mutter Anna von Theodor Mosse gerichtlich geschieden, jetzt mit dem Kunstmaler Rauecker verheiratet und wohnte in München. Vermutlich handelt es sich um Simon Theodor Rauecker (* 15. November 1854 in München; † 19. Januar 1940 ebenda), deutscher Architekt, Kunstmaler und Mosaikkünstler.
Das Paar hatte drei Töchter: Käthe (* 24.09.1900), die Philosophie studierte und am 17. Dezember 1923 den Theologie-Professort Leonardo Olschki heiratete (Charlottenburg I, P Rep. 551, Urkunds-Nr. 1122/23), Eva Noack-Mosse (* 25.06.1902-07.01.1990 in München), die als Redaktionsangestellte am 15. Februar 1934 den Kaufmann Moritz Noack heiratete (Charlottenburg I, P Rep. 551, Urkunds-Nr. 90/34), und Hilde verheiratete Danziger (??? -lt. geni.com-Eintrag zu Max Mosse, aber kein Geburtseintrag bei Ancestry ermittelbar)

Max Mosse starb am 16. November 1936 in Berlin.

Die Unterlagen mit der Acc. 6335 erhielt das Landesarchiv Berlin im Dezember 2006 von Prof. Florian Tennstedt, Kassel, der sie selbst von der Tochter Eva Noack-Mosse bekommen hatte.
Sie wurden von Lina Brügmann im Rahmen der Ausbildung zur Fachangestellten für Medien- und Informationsdienste vorsortiert und in Mappen gepackt und von der Unterzeichnerin verzeichnet.
Der Nachlass umfasst jetzt sechs Archivalieneinheiten und wird wie folgt zitiert: E Rep. 061-16-01 Nachlass Max Mosse Nr. ..
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person.
