Regest: Bürgermeister, Gericht und Vierer zu Ebingen bekennen: Daniel Kauffmann, der sich in Reuttlingen häuslich niederzulassen gedenkt, ist der eheliche Sohn des Johann Melchior Kauffmann und der Anna Maria Hoch, welche beide noch leben. Er ist am 22. Juni 1718 geboren und von Johannes Rehfuss, der Zeit Bürgermeister, Hans Martin Beckh, Schuster, und Anna Barbara, Hausfrau des Christian Rieber, Zeugmachers, aus der Tauf gehoben worden. Seine Eltern befinden sich bei solchen Mitteln, daß sie für diesen ihren Sohn 200 fl und darüber gar wohl zu verbürgen vermögen. Daniel Kauffmann ist von Leibeigenschaft ganz frei.
