Enthält: Kaufvertrag vom 11. Dezember 1890. Die Verkäuferin Witwe von Wilhelm Jacob Mertens, Cäcilie Josephine geb. Franssen, Inhaberin eines Goldwarengeschäfts in Krefeld handelt für sich und als Bevollmächtigte ihrer Kinder und Schwiegerkinder, nämlich Pieter Mertens, Gymnasiallehrer in Köln, Eheleute Wolf Schmitt und Elisabeth geb. Mertens, Wernigerode, Ferdinand Mertens, Fotograf zu Lausanne, Otto Mertens, Fotograf zu Lausanne, Maria Mertens in Ittenbach, Eheleute Max Otten, Geschäftsführer und Emma geb. Mertens in Gibbermühle bei Anrath, dann Eugen Josef Mertens, Fotograf zu Krefeld, Josefine Mertens, Krefeld, Wilhelm Mertens, Fotograf zu Krefeld und Christine Mertens, Krefeld, sowie Euphrosyne Mertens und Carl Mertens, verschlossen (verschollen?) in Niederländisch-Indien. Letzter hat auf Grundlage eines Erlasses vom 20.05.1885 sein Erbe seiner Mutter übertragen. Käufer sind Jakob Platen, verheiratet mit Henriette Plattes, Ackerer zu Willich und Joseph Plattes, ledig, Ackerer zu Anrath, Notar ist Ernst Georg Ludwig Koenig, Krefeld. Der Kaufpreis beträgt 900 Mark - im Vertragstext wird der Flächeninhalt angegeben mit 38 Ar 64 m², was deutlich von dem beigefügten Situationsplan abweicht. Dem Kaufvertrag ist die Vollmacht angehängt, die Witwe Wilhelm Jacob Mertens von ihren Kindern erhielt.
Darin: ein vom Geometer Camp aus Krefeld am 10. Juni 1875 angefertigter Situationsplan der Holzung im Maßstab 1:625, Gemeinde Schiefbahn, Flur C Nr. 652/71, (Grundsteuermutterrolle Nr. 323) zu der Zeit im Besitz von Jacob Mertens, Krefeld – die Vermessung der Parzelle ergab eine Größe von 2 Morgen 3 Ruthen 50 Fuß = 51 Ar 56 Meter angegeben
