Aus den Artikeln, die ihr Anwalt dem Gericht zur Befragung des Beklagten übergibt, geht hervor, dass Hans einem Soldaten namens Jacob von Scharten (?) Geld schuldete. Dieser hatte ihm, weil er nicht zahlen konnte, bereits ein Pferd dafür abgenommen. Hans schickte den Thewiß daraufhin zu Hermann Kochs nach Buschfeld, ihn um einen Kredit zu bitten. Der Vater der Klägerin willigte ein. Man vereinbarte, dass Müller die 25 Rtlr mit jährlich 1/2 Malter Roggen zurückzahlen sollte. Als Begründung, dass sie sich erst jetzt um die Rückzahlung bemühe, nennt die Klägerin das langdauernde Kriegswesen und, dass sie damals noch minderjährig gewesen war und jetzt im Witwenstand lebe.
