Die Materialsammlung zu Kabakov wurde wegen ihres Umfangs aufgeteilt (A, B und C). Sie setzt sich aus mehreren Akten des ursprünglichen Bestandes zusammen und enthält unterschiedlichste Informationen zu Arbeiten von Kabakov, aber auch Korrespondenzen, Ausstellungseinladungen und Projektbeschreibungen.
Die Akte C enthält vorwiegend Informationen zu Kabakovs Installationsarbeit "10 Alben", Portikus 1988 (mit Angaben zum Ausstellungsaufbau), aber auch persönliche Korrespondenz.
In der Akte enthalten sind:
- Zeichnung von Kabakov "Für Johann", 1988
- sieben Installationszeichnungen von Kabakov zur Ausstellung "10 Alben", Portikus, 1988. Vier der Zeichnungen sind Originale, die anderen drei s/w Kopien

Der Akte wurde nachträglich ein Fax (20.11.1993) und ein Schreiben von Kabakov an König hinzugefügt. (o.A.)

BZK no.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.

In the sources, the persecuted person is sometimes referred to as ‘Geschädigter’ (aggrieved party) and the applicant as ‘Anspruchsberechtigter’(claimant).
