Vorwort: Besitzer der Hofmark Arnschwang (Landkreis Cham) waren 1527 Fuchs, 1612 die kurpfälzische Regierung Amberg, 1626 Joachim von Donnersberg, 1678 Alois Bonaventura von Altersheim, 1722 Alois von Kreuth, 1740 Johann Baptist von Albersdorf, 1759 Max von Töring auf Ränkam. 1801 wurde sie - zusammen mit Ränkam - an Karl Friedrich Wilhelm von Völderndorff und Waradein verkauft. 1821 wurde ein Patrimonialgericht I. Klasse errichtet, doch 1826 wurde festgestellt, dass die Güter in Arnschwang samt Gerichtsbarkeit und Patronatsrechten vom Staat erworben wurden. Untertanen lebten in Arnschwang, Eichmühle, Faustendorf und Weiding, außerdem gab es einschichtige Untertanen in Kuglhof. Es handelt sich um 233 Archivalieneinheiten mit der Laufzeit 1529 bis 1835.
