Bestandsgeschichte: Zugänge ab 1906.
Geschichte des Bestandsbildners: Das Amtsgericht Idstein wurde 1867 errichtet und unterstand zunächst dem Kreisgericht, ab 1879 dem Landgericht Wiesbaden. 1867 umfasste es die Gemeinden des ehemaligen Amtes Idstein (Abt. 229) sowie die Gemeinden Camberg, Eisenbach, Erbach, Nieder- und Oberselters. Am 1.10.1879 fand eine Neugliederung statt, durch die 8 Gemeinden an das neu errichtete Amtsgericht Camberg (Abt. 469/14) fielen. Dafür erhielt das Amtsgericht Idstein vom Amtsgericht Wehen (Abt. 469/31) die Gemeinden Bechtheim, Beuerbach, Ehrenbach, Eschenhahn, Görsroth, Kesselbach, Ketternschwalbach, Niederauroff, Oberauroff, Panrod und Wallbach. Am 1.7.1968 wurden die Gemeinden Niederems, Reichenbach, Steinfischbach und Wüstems dem Amtsgerichtsbezirk Usingen (Abt. 469/29) zugewiesen.

When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
