Das Rennfieber als Einnahmequelle hat in Hockenheim seit über 70 Jahren Tradition, Umsatz etwa 50 Millionen Euro. Gastronomie, Hotellerie, Einzelhandel, Vereine und einzelne Bürger, die ihre Vorgärten vermieten, verdienen mit. Einmal im Jahr, am letzten Juli-Wochenende, steht das nordbadische Städtchen völlig im Bann der Formel 1 und seiner 100.000 Fans. Anfangs eine Motorradrennstrecke, ist der neu umgebaute Hockenheimring vor allem ein Formel 1-Motodrom mit Landessubvention. Die in Baden-Württemberg ansässige Automobilindustrie bekam auf dem Gelände zusätzliche Testmöglichkeiten. 50 Hektar Wald mussten insgesamt gerodet werden. Umweltschützer und Rennstreckengegner haben es schwer und ernsthaften Widerstand gegen den Rennsport hat es, im Gegensatz zum Solitudering und dem Schauinsland, in Hockenheim nie gegeben.

BZK no.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
