Gerhard Buchter, Pfarrer in Handorf, verkauft an Bernhard Travelman einen Kotten gen. des Vryen havestat, mit drei Personen: der Witwe Mechtild Vryen, und deren Kinder Evetze und Alheyd, für den Altar St. Jacobus majoris in der Kirche St. Martini in Münster. Der Kotten liegt am Friedhof zu Gimbte (Gymethe) und gehörte früher den Schonenbeke. Er erhält dafür 8 Mark münst. Währung und gelobt mit seinem Bruder Henrich Buchter, Vikar an St. Mauritz, Währschaft. Beide Brüder siegeln. Notum sit omnibus presentem litteram visuris et audituris, quod nos Gerhardus dictus Buchtere, plebanus in Handorpe, vendidi domino Bernhardo Travelman quandam casam dictam des Vryenhaºvestat cum suis pertinenciis, videlicet tribus hominibus Mechtildi, relicte quondam dicti Vryen, necnon Evetze et Alheydi, pueris sive filiabus eiusdem Mechtildis, ac vendo sibi firmiter per presentes quo ad usum novi altaris sancti Jacobi apostoli maioris ecclesie sancti Martini Monast., prout sita est iuxta cimiterium tho Gymethe et olim pertinuerat ad illos dictos de Schonenbeke et ut eciam nos emimus a Godefrido Martini et a suis heredibus proprietatis jure libere et perpetue possidendam per octo marcis denar. Mon. legalium et bonorum nobis ab ipso domino Bernhardo traditis integraliter et solutis.
