Dr. Wolken berichtet, daß er im 07.1943 mit ca. 800 Häftlingen von Auschwitz nach Birkenau zur Vergasung überstellt und Dank seines Berufs vor dem Tode gerettet wurde. Verblieb zunächst im Arbeitslager B II d, wo er Zeuge von Folterungen an griechischen Juden war. Bei einer Selektion am letzten Sonntag im 08.1943 bei der 4000 Juden aus dem Lagerabschnitt D der Vergasung zugeführt wurden, blieber ebenfalls verschont und wurde wenige Wochen später als Arzt der Ambulanz im Quarantäne-Männerlager B II a zugeteilt. Folgendes ist u. a. angeführt: Erschießung von 11 Flüchtigen aus einem Transport von Lemberg am 04.10.1943. Selektionen am 29.08.1943, 03.10.1943, 10.10.1943, 21.10.1943. Ankunft eines Transportes körperschwacher Häftlinge "Muselmänner" aus dem Lager Flossenbürg am 05.12.1943.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
