Errichtung: 1804 "Der schon in der Frühzeit besiedelte Ort hatte nachweislich im 13. Jh. eine Burg. Wahrscheinlich gehörte zu ihr ursprünglich die Kapelle, die später der Gemeinde zur Verfügung stand. 1414 wurde der zuständige Pfarrer von Weyer verpflichtet, zweimal wöchentlich hier die hl. Messe zu feiern. 1664 wurde anlässlich einer Visitation die alljährlich seit Jahrhunderten stattfindende sakramentale Prozession zum Georgspütz untersagt. 1784 konnte dank einer Stiftung ein eigener Vikar angestellt werden, der der Pfarre Weyer unterstand. Bei der Organisation des ersten Bistums Aachen 1804 wurde Kallmuth selbständige Pfarre mit den bisher zu Weyer gehörenden Orten Bergheim und Lorbach. Erster Pfarrer war Johann Edmund Schmitz, bis dahin Prämonstratenser in Reichenstein. Kallmuth gehörte zum Kanton Gemünd. Später kam Kalenberg von Dottel zur Pfarre Kallmuth. 1825 wurde Kallmuth dem Dekanat Steinfeld zugeteilt und 1925 dem Dekanat Mechernich. - Seit 1953 findet alljährlich am 1. The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
