Haus Horst an der Ruhr (bei Königssteele, heute Stadt Essen), das sich im 13. Jahrhundert im Besitz der Herren von der Horst befand, kam im Erbwege um 1400 an die von Vaerst. Von diesen gelangte es wiederum im Erbwege an die von der Recke zu Kemenade. Im Jahre 1497 kaufte es Everd von Schüren von diesen. Agnes von Schüren, die mit dem Raugrafen Engelbert von Salm verheiratet war, verkaufte Haus Horst im Jahre 1642 an den Grafen von Falkenstein zu Broich und seine Frau Alexandrine, Tochter des Grafen Alexander von Velen. Die Eheleute überließen Haus Horst dem Vater bzw. Schwiegervater. Dieser kaufte im Jahre 1660 die Anteile an den Besitzrechten des Hugo von Schüren an, um den gesamten Besitz im Jahre 1663 an die von Rhede zu Brandlecht zu veräußern. Münster 1996 D. M. Wolf

BZK no.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
