1951 - 1974
Bestandsgeschichte: Der VEB Kosmetika Leipzig, Tauchaer Straße 18, wurde am 29.5.1972 gebildet. Sein Vorgängerbetrieb war die Firma D'Arndt-Edith Förster-Parfümerie und Kosmetika, welcher sich im Leipziger Adreßbuch von 1948 erstmalig nachweisen ließ. Die damalige Bezeichnung lautete D'Arndt-E. Reichenberger-Parfümfabrik, Petersstraße 20. Bereits 1951 wird im Schriftgut der Firma als Firmensitz die Tauchaer Straße 18 angegeben. Wann die Firma von Edith Förster übernommen wurde, konnte anhand der uns vorliegenden Unterlagen nicht ermittelt werden. Gemäß § 12 der Verordnung über das Verfahren der Gründung und Zusammenlegung von volkseigenen Betrieben vom 16.10.1968 wurde der VEB Kosmetika zum 30.6.1974 abgewickelt. Die Geschäftsunterlagen gelangten für die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Aufbewahrung von 10 Jahren an das Dienstleistungskombinat, Abt. Beleihung/Einlagerung. Zusammen mit anderen Firmenunterlagen wurden sie von dort 1982 an das Stadtarchiv Leipzig übergeben. Die Bearbeitung des Bestandes erfolgte ca. 1982/1983. Eine später ermittelte Akte wurde 1998 eingearbeitet. Der Bestand enthält neben den Unterlagen des VEB auch die der Vorgängereinrichtung.
