Willi Reischert wurde am 8. April 1921 als Sohn des Hermann Reischert und seiner Ehefrau Katharina geb. Umbauer in Viernheim geboren; er starb am 30. November 1988 in New York. Nach einer Malerlehre machte er sich nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg als "Kunstgewerbler" *)Knapp selbstständig und wandte sich gleichzeitig der Kunstmalerei zu, anfangs als Autodidakt, später durch Fortbildungen an der Abendakademie Mannheim u.a. Seit 1950 war er Mitglied des Verbandes bildender Künstler Baden Württemberg. 1957 wanderte Reischert nach den USA aus und ließ sich in New York nieder. Dort arbeitete er als gewerblicher Künstler für Woolworths u. a., machte sich jedoch in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren künstlerisch einen Namen und beschickte diverse Ausstellungen in den USA und in Viernheim. The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
