Enthält: Auf Gesuch von Johann Werner Braun aus Köln geben Schultheiß und Schöffen eine beurkundete Auskunft darüber, wie am Kerpener Gericht eine Appellation eingeleitet wird: Nach dem publizierten Finalurteil kann der Unterlegene entweder sofort ("stante pede et viva voce") appellieren oder aber innerhalb von 10 Tagen bei einem Notar und mit Zeugen eine Appellationsschrift an das oberste Gericht anfertigen zu lassen, das dann innerhalb von 30 Tagen die dazugehörenden Prozessschritte vornehmen soll. Ebenso sei die Appellationsschrift dem damit beauftragten Richter und der Gegenpartei durch einen Notar auszuhändigen. Andernfalls wäre die Appellation ungültig. Der Richter könne sich bei der Exekution seines Votums dann des Gerichtsboten [gemeint ist wohl der ersten Instanz] bedienen.

When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person.
