Enthält: Er war der Diener des Rotger Stove, des Wirts im Stadtkeller am Markt. Er behauptet: Rexing habe mit anderen Boten (im Sommer 1588) im Stadtkeller gezecht; er habe ihn an den Mantel gefasst, weil er nicht habe bezahlen wollen; Rexing sei völlig betrunken gewesen und sei rückwärts die Kellertreppe hinabgestürzt; er (Zwenthoffen) habe ihn nicht mal angefasst, noch weniger gestoßen. Hierüber werden i.J. 1591 durch den Stadtrichter als Zeugen vernommen: 1. Junggeselle Bernt Froninck aus Nordwalde, 21 Jahre alt; 2. Anna Bremers, Witwe Dietrich von Bremen in der Elende Ägidii, 60-70 Jahre alt; 3. Anna Kosters aus Hoetmar, Magd des Werner Langerman, 24 J. alt; 4. Johan Tolner, 40 J. alt. Die Zeugen bestätigen die Behauptungen. Erwähnt werden Johan und Stephan Rexing, die Brüder des Engelbrecht; Johan Hermeling; Witwe Henrich Osswoldt.
