A Rep. 250-01-11 Hüttenwerke Kayser AG / Hüttenwerke C. W. Kayser & Co. (Bestand)
Das Unternehmen zur Herstellung und Verwertung von Metallen und Legierungen aus Erzen, technischen Produkten und Industrierückständen wurde 1861 als Fa. C. Wilhelm Kayser, Ahlemeyer & Co in Moabit als Metallhüttenwerk gegründet. 1864 schied der Anteilseigentümer Ahlemeyer aus dem Unternehmen aus. 1906 wurde die gesamte Produktion nach Oranienburg verlagert und 1912 in eine AG umgewandelt. 1929 fusionierte das Unternehmen mit der Hüttenwerke Niederschöneweide AG zur Hüttenwerke C.W. Kayser & Co. Niederschöneweide AG. 1938 wurde die Hüttenwerke Kayser AG gegründet. 1941/42 übernahm das Lübecker Handelsunternehmen L.Possehl & Co die Aktienmehrheit.
Das Unternehmen wurde 1945 demontiert, 1946 unter Treuhandverwaltung gestellt, 1949 enteignet und als VEB Hüttenwerke Kayser fortgeführt. 1951 wurde der Betrieb in den VEB Berliner Metallhütten- und Halbzeugwerke eingegliedert.
2. Bestandsgeschichte
Im Jahre 2010 erfolgte die Retrokonversion in Augias 8.1.
Insgesamt umfasst der Bestand 109 [AE] 3.00 [lfm] aus den Jahren 1911 - 1945 (- 1950).

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
