Enthält: Ausgangspunkt des Gerichtsverfahrens am Kerpener Landgericht ist eine noch aus der Zeit der Pfandschaft des Kölner Domkapitels stammende Steuerrückforderung des Steuereinnehmers Peter Luns an Jacob Esser, den Bede-Einnehmer zu Kerpen. In den Jahren 1700 und 1701. Am 21.3.1727 waren ihm deshalb 3 Stück Hornvieh (1 Rind und 2 Kälber), 1 Pferd und der Karren gepfändet und für 25 Rtlr Lösegeld auf den Pfandstall gestellt worden. Um die Pfänder wieder auszulösen, macht Esser nun seinerseits eine Forderung von 174 Rtlr rückständiger Steuern gegen die Erben Werner Siegers geltend. Er habe gehört, dass den Erben Siegers Anfang Mai eine Zahlung seitens der Erben Johann Zauns über 91 Rtlr zustehe, und er beantragt, dass dieses Geld ihm als Abschlag auf seine Forderung zugewiesen werde, womit er dann seine Pfänder auslösen und die Schulden an Luns abtragen könne. Appellationskommissar Fabritius für den Landesherrn gibt ihm Recht und befiehlt der domkapitelischen Seite, die Forderungen ruhen zu lassen und die ausstehenden Gelder der Erben Zauns an Sieger zu beschlagnahmen ("Verordnung arrestum sub poena dupli").
