E 10/N 50 Nachlass Peter Goessler (Schuhmacher) (Bestand)
Form und Inhalt: Im Bestand befinden sich zwei Schreiben an den Tübinger Schuhmacher Peter Goessler (geb. 12.9.1803 in Ehningen bei Böblingen, gest. 6.5.1862 in Tübingen). Inhaltlich geht es in beiden Schreiben um eine finanzielle Auseinandersetzung mit einem Herrn Auerbacher. Verfasser des ersten Schreibens ist M. Maier aus Dunningen (bei Rottweil). Er schreibt an Goessler am 10. Februar 1856 und berät ihn hinsichtlich einer vertraglichen Vereinbarung zwischen Auerbacher und Goessler die Abtretung von Zielern (Ratenzahlungen) an Herrn Auerbacher betreffend. Das andere, nicht vollständig erhaltene Schreiben vom 11. September 1862 stammt von Schultheiß Scheiderhan aus Nordstetten. Es geht darin um die Höhe der Restschulden von Emmanuel Auerbacher bei Schuhmacher Goessler. Frau Engler vermutet eine verwandtschaftliche Verbindung zwischen dem genannten Auerbacher und dem Schriftsteller Berthold Auerbach (1812-1882).
