Die Arbeitsstunden waren 12 am Tag einschl. der Mittagspause. Zum Stammlager Flossenbürg gehörten 47 Nebenkommandos für Männer und 27 für Frauen. Es gab 22.000 Männer und 14.700 Frauen, die in diesen Lagern arbeiteten. Von den Männerlagern waren Hersbruck, Leitmeritz, Obertraubling, Mülsen, Saal Donau die Schlimmsten. In Hersbruck und Leitmeritz wurde ausschließlich unter Tage gearbeitet. Von 5.000 Häftlingen in den verschieden. Kommandos starben täglich 100 und manchmal mehr. Nach Obertraubling waren im 02.1945 700 Häftlinge transportiert worden und am 15.04.1945 waren nur 405 Männer am Leben. In zwei Monaten starben 295 Häftlinge, das sind 42 %. Während der letzten zwei Monate starben im Haupt- und in den Nebenlagern 14.739 Männer und ca. 1.300 Frauen, das sind fast 67 %.
