Am 04.06.1882 wäre Karl Valentin 120 Jahre alt geworden. Einer seiner größten Fans ist der Stuttgarter Musiker Jogi Nestel. Er begleitet Stummfilme - und zwar nicht auf dem Klavier, sondern auf Trommel- und Schlagzeuginstrumenten. Sein neuestes Projekt ist Valentins letzter, nahezu unbekannter Stummfilm "Der Sonderling" von 1929. Mit rund 80 Perkussions-Instrumenten, wie Vibraphon, Trommeln und Becken komponierte Nestel eine beindruckende Filmmusik, die er bei seiner aktuellen Tournee durch ganz Deutschland live zum Film präsentiert, u.a. auch in Stuttgart und Crailsheim.
Geboren 1965 in Sindelfingen, aufgewachsen in Amerika und Deutschland, studierte Nestel an der Swiss Jazz School in Bern und an der Musikhochschule Stuttgart. Seit 1982 tourt der 36-Jährige mit verschiedenen Formationen durch ganz Europa. Als Solo-Perkussionist ist er in Sachen Theater, Modern-Dance und Filmmusik schon seit sechs Jahren weltweit unterwegs. 1995 komponierte und spielte er bereits die Filmmusik zu Buster Keaton's Stummfilm "Der General".

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number.
