Feldmarschall; 1598-1657), wird am 6.3.1632 der Nachlass des am 23.2.1632 in Minden verstorbenen Niklas Philipp Gross, Feldwebels der genannten Kompagnie, verzeichnet. Der Nachlass befindet sich im Hause des Bernhard Eyling, Wirtes im Weißen Pferd. Ein Schrein wird durch M. Evert Hoefschmit geöffnet (Obristwachtmeister der Kompagnie ist 1633 Ernst Hermann von Westerholt). Der Aufnahme des Nachlassverzeichnisses wohnt bei die Tochter Katharina Gross und Notar Theodor Blising. Die Witwe des Gross ist Margarete Wellerman; sie war die zweite Frau.
