Bestandsgeschichte: Der Splitterbestand dokumentiert die Tätigkeit des Ortsausschusses des DGB in Bremen während der Frühzeit der Bundesrepublik. Er wurde offensichtlich 1945 als Dachorganisation der Bremer Einzelgewerkschaften gegründet. Die Frühgeschichte der Gewerkschaftbewegung erörtert: Peter Brandt: Antifaschismus und Arbeiterbewegung. Aufbau, Ausprägung, Politik in Bremen 1945/46, Hamburg 1976.
Parallel dazu können die in der Dienstbibliothek verwahrten Zeitschriften benutzt werden, nämlich das Mitteilungsblatt der Gewerkschaften für das Land Bremen (Za 1192) und Neues Beginnen - Zeitschrift der Arbeiterwohlfahrt (Za 1193). Die zeitliche Anschlußüberlieferung des Landesverbands Niedersachsen-Bremen und weiteres Dokumentationsmaterial werden im Archiv der sozialen Denokratie/Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Bonn-Bad Godesberg verwahrt.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings.
