Vorwort Der Bestand enthält die Überlieferung des Kreises Viersen ab seiner Gründung zum 1. Januar 1975. Der überwiegende Teil des Kreisgebietes blieb dabei deckungsgleich mit dem Kreis Kempen-Krefeld, allerdings wurde aus dem aufgelösten Altkreis Erkelenz die Gemeinde Niederkrüchten aufgenommen, während der Kempener Ortsteil Hüls an Krefeld abgegeben werden musste. Zeitlich schließt der Bestand an den Bestand A 1 an. Ein Großteil des aktuellen Bestands wurde bis Mitte 2019 von Kreisarchivamtsrätin Vera Meyer-Rogmann verzeichnet. Der Bestand erhält laufenden Zuwachs und wird kontinuierlich weiter erschlossen. Aktuell umfasst er über 12.000 Verzeichnungseinheiten.Viersen, 23.01.2023Dr. Michael Habersack
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
