Vorwort: Die Hofmark Schönau (Gde. Schwarzhofen, Lkr. Schwandorf) gehörte seit 1609 den von Pertolzhofen, ging 1665 an den Herold und 1792 an Theodor Graf von Bettschart. Alle Besitzungen lagen in Schönau, Untertanen des Patrimonialgerichts lebten auch in Girnitz und Oberaschau. 1820 erfolgte der Heimfall durch den Tod von Bettscharts bevor über die Gerichtsbarkeit entschieden wurde. Der Bestand besteht aus 33 Archivalieneinheiten mit einer Laufzeit von 1616 bis 1818. Er enthält v.a. Gerichtsrechnungen. Briefprotokolle: Briefprotokolle Neunburg v.Wald 762-765.
