Bestandsinformationen: 1987 und 1989 erfolgte durch das Verwaltungsarchiv des VEB Zekom die Übergabe von etwa 60 lfm. Archivgut der ehemaligen Betriebe VVB Zement Dessau und VEB Zementkombinat Dessau an das damalige Staatsarchiv Magdeburg. Infolge mehrerer Notübernahmen kam 1990 und 1991 ca. 11 lfm weiteres, teils unverzeichnetes, Archivgut hinzu. Anfang 1993 übergab die Baustoffservice GmbH Dessau (Rechtsnachfolger des VEB) ca. 45 lfm Schriftgut des VEB Zekom an das Landeshauptarchiv Magdeburg. Wenig später wurde der komplette Mischbestand an das neu gegründete Landesarchiv Merseburg übergeben.
Bereits im Verwaltungsarchiv war für den VVB-Bestand eine detaillierte Bestandsgliederung und für den VEB-Bestand eine Grobgliederung erstellt worden. Ebenso erfolgte dort die einfache Verzeichnung der Akten auf Karteikarten, allerdings bei zumeist mangelhafter Aktentitelbildung und größtenteils ohne die Einordnung (60 %) in Gliederungsgruppen.
2013 wurde bei der Retrokonversion der Gliederungsgruppen im Archivprogramm scope die Verzeichnungskartei anhand des VEB-Gründungsdatums (1. Jan. 1970) nach VVB Zement Dessau und VEB Zementkombinat Dessau getrennt und, soweit nicht vorhanden, die Gliederung des VEB-Bestandes entsprechend eines aufgefundenen Struktureinheitenverzeichnisses vervollständigt. Anhand der Aktenlaufzeiten, der Aktentitelangaben und teilweise nach Akteneinsicht wurden die Karteikarten zugeordnet. Dabei ließ es sich nicht vermeiden mehrere AE mit einer Laufzeit bis 1971 im VVB-Bestand zu belassen.
6,7 lfm Akten der SED-Grundorganisation des Zementkombinates und 0,8 lfm Akten der betrieblichen Arbeiter- und Bauerninspektion (ABI) wurden dem Mischbestand entnommen und den bereits bestehenden Archivbeständen (P 522-119 bzw. M 552-15) hinzugefügt.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person.
