Otto Peter Görl, geb. 23.9.1925 in Nankendorf (Lkr. Bayreuth), gest. 6.8.1996 in NürnbergNach der Schulzeit in Nürnberg und einem Praktikum als Maurer und Zimmermann studierte Görl Architektur an der TH Karlsruhe. Nach dem Studium drei Jahre Arbeit als Architekt in Afghanistan, seit 1958 bei der Stadt Nürnberg. Als Nachfolger von Heinz Schmeißner war er 1970-1990 städtischer Baureferent. In seiner Amtszeit entstanden zahlreiche Schulhausbauten (von ihm selbst z.B. die Volksschule auf der Insel Schütt), das Polizeipräsidium in der Ludwigsstraße, das Altersheim auf dem Platnersberg, der Y-Bau des Klinikums Nürnberg-Nord, die Müllverbrennungsanlage und das Messezentrum in Langwasser. Görl zeichnet auch für den Weiterbau der U-Bahn und den Ausbau der Fußgängerzone in Nürnberg verantwortlich. Mit dem Symposion Urbanum und dem Ehekarussell am Weißen Turm stand Görl für einen offensiven Umgang mit zeitgenössischer Kunst in der Nürnberger Altstadt. Damit und mit der von ihm entworfenen Fassade des Karstadt-Kaufhauses löste er zum Teil kontrovers geführte Diskussionen aus.Zum Bestand:Umfangreiche Zeitungsausschnitte, Artikel aus Fachzeitschriften, Reden, Vorträge (v.a. Dia-Vorträge) und Veröffentlichungen, Prospekte zum Nürnberger Bauwesen, wenig Persönliches, DiasDer Bestand gelangte durch Vermittlung von Altbürgermeister Willy Prölß 1997/98 ins StadtAN. The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
