Einleitung: Biografische Notiz
Christoph von Kolb wurde geboren am 2. September 1847 in Basel, 1877 Diakon in Freudenstadt, 1885 an der Johanneskirche, 1886 an der Stiftskirche in Stuttgart, von 1893 bis 1901 als Stadtpfarrer; 1894 Ersatzmann zur vierten Landessynode für Stuttgart-Stadt; 1901 Dekan in Ludwigsburg, 1903-1917 Oberhofprediger und Oberkonsistorialrat in Stuttgart mit Titel und Rang eines Prälaten, zugleich auch ordentliches Mitglied des Strafanstalten-Kollegiums, 1908 Verleihung der Ehrendoktorwürde durch die Universität Tübingen; 1915 Mitglied des Disziplinargerichts für evangelische Geistliche; 1917-1928 Ehrenmitglied des Konsistoriums, gestorben am 18. Juni 1928.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
