Die Akte fasst allgemeine Geschäftskorrespondenzen an Kasper König zwischen den Jahren 1964 und 1969 zusammen, die im Bestand an verschiedenen Stellen unzusammenhängend gelagert wurden.
Insbesondere handelt es sich um Briefe oder Karten von Galerien sowie von Institutionen an König. Darunter sind die Galerien Rudolf Zwirner und Robert Fraser, bei denen König tätig war. Die Korrespondenz mit Alexandre Iolas, der König eine Position in seiner Galerie angeboten hat, der Galerie Gunar; Allan Frumkin Gallery; Franz Dahlem oder Richard Bellamy deuten Königs Vernetzung im Kunsthandel an, während Dokumente zum Kommunikationszentrum A 379089 (Antwerpen), des Los Angeles County Museum of Art oder ein Schreiben der Brillo Manufacturing Company kuratorische Aspekte aufzeigen. Letzteres ist die Zusage der Lieferung von 300 leeren Brillo-Boxen für eine Warhol-Ausstellung im Moderna Museum Stockholm, die König zusammen mit Pontus Hultén kuratierte.
Neben den Briefen an König befinden sich auch vier seiner Entwürfe in der Akte.
Zudem wurde der Akte nachträglich die Kopie eines Briefs von Hans van der Grinten an Hermann Teuber vom 14.1.1969 hinzugefügt, in dem König als "junger Freund" und "Manager der Pop-Art" vorgestellt wird, sowie fünf Briefe aus den Jahren 1969 und 1970 von Seth Siegelaub, Phyllis Johnson (Aspen Magazine), Paul Fuchs (Bildhauer), Sally Gidal (Robert Fraser Gallery) und Klaus Groh (Art Agency).

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
