Am 17.2.2012 wurde in Hof die Genossenschaft BürgerEnergieHof eG gegründet, seit 20. März steht sie im Genossenschaftsregister. Ziel ist es, bei der Energiewende die Bürger des Stadt- und Landkreises zu beteiligen.
